Good Afternoon Prime Enforcers.
We wanted to give you an update on what's going on currently behind the scenes. As we've been seeing a lot of the community requesting more live updates and more in-game-related updates instead of waiting on devlogs.
So...
We've created a brand new mobile game build for War In Arms which is also the 'Investors Build'. This will be getting sent off to all interested parties looking to work with us.
While internally testing on mobile we found over 30 bugs, and in a space of 24 hours, our team has fixed over 3/4 of those.
This is exactly the response we will be executing once we launch on Google and iOS in the future for the public, fast patches so our players can enjoy the game with no long-lasting issues, so we've taken it as a positive practice run.
Apart from the mentioned above, we have also been working on the following and added into the game;
- new third-person animations,
- new first-person animations,
- new weapons,
- red dot sights,
- iron sights,
- new core mechanics such as barricading doors, walls, blowing up walls, destroying walls, climbing through broken walls,
- using drones as attackers,
- using cameras as defenders located around this map,
- added all spawn points for attackers and defenders on the map 'Oasis',
- bomb spawn points now added ( will be getting changed if locations are either too easy to defend or attack this will be decided once we launch a beta)
- scanning enemies with drones and cameras,
- adding a "you've been spotted" if you leave the building as a defender,
- added a red barrier on all doors and windows to stop defenders from getting out of the building during the preparation stage,
- added C4,
- added impact grenade system,
- currently modeling impact grenade to add to the game,
- loadout selection screen added,
- attacker/defender selection screen added,
- spawn points as defenders or attackers screen added,
- cinematic screen while flying into map added,
- lighting on map "Oasis" completed,
- HUD is now fully functional on mobile,
- grapple system fully functioning,
- drones can now jump and zoom in,
- map Cameras can now move 180° and zoom in,
- interior and exterior of the map 'Oasis' nearly completed with textures
- more Environment Models completed
- weapons are now visible in third person animations
- new operators under development (More details soon)
- fps is at a minimum of 60, will look to push this to 120fps after the global launch
And there are a lot more internal systems and current systems that have been fixed or upgraded but we don't want to bore you with that side of things.
We would also like to thank you all for the constant support on our socials, and a huge thank you to all of our Patreon members constantly supporting our game financially also. It's been a heck of a journey and as some of you know how hard and time-consuming it is to program and develop a game, so we thank those who have not rushed us and rather than rush us just support us.
We've hit our 7th month of development for this game, and for part-time developers we've achieved so much, starting from a small cube In a huge open empty screen to now a fully functional game, with so many great CQB Features.
We HEAR you, we will get a new Devlog out as soon as we finish with our gameplay teaser.
We also HEAR you in regards to "release date" all we can say at the current moment is... The game will still be launching in 2021 but the month is not confirmed yet for the public as their many reasons behind this. Rest assured we are coming to your gaming stores on iOS, Android, APK direct download from our website and will be looking into other stores too.
I hope you've enjoyed reading our blog dated 29/07/2021.
We will write these blogs every now and then to keep you updated.
